Eggnog Pound Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons rum
- 1 teaspoon rum extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3/4 cup whole milk
Directions:
Pre Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour one Loaf Pan.
Combine sugar, butter, rum, rum extract, vanilla and egg yolks in large mixing bowl; beat with electric mixer or stand mixer until thoroughly combined.
Gradually add in flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg,and milk. Pour batter into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.
